Abstract:

Includes photographs of dancers and dance performances associated with the Temple of the Wings in Berkeley, Calif., as well as portraits of members of the Boynton, Treadwell and Quitzow families, including Sulgwynn Quitzow, Charles Quitzow, OElóel Quitzow Braun, Vol Quitzow, Rhea Boynton Hildebrand, Charles Calvin Boynton, Rhea Treadwell Boynton, Thomas Treadwell and Charles Boynton Clark. Also includes much ephemera and some news clippings pertaining to dance events at the Temple and elsewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as to the history of the Temple. Also includes papers of Rhea Boynton Hildebrand pertaining to the oral history of her family conducted by the Regional Oral History Office.
